Spot wild flowers & rare butterflies in the woodland by the cottage & around the farm. Try Wild Swimming in a pool by the cottage. The Scottish Borders is very popular with cyclists, several important races have taken / take place in the area, including The Tour of Britain & The Tour of the Borders.
