The Bennachie Lodge at Logie Newton is a newly built luxury lodge in rural Aberdeenshire. Located on a dog and horse friendly farm, the lodge is nestled next to 65 acres of native woodland, with breathtaking views looking over the rolling farmland to the majestic Bennachie.
Perfect for a couple or two friends, the lodge features a hot tub with views to the north for watching the Northern Lights and stargazing in winter. A BBQ fire pit and a large deck with outdoor seating and dining area is ideal for enjoying your morning coffee and fun filled evenings all year round.
For those who enjoy the outdoors, the farm has over 10km of grass tracks for walks, cross country running and horse riding. Along these tracks you can admire the views, watch the wildlife and take in the historical sites of the onsite stone circles, standing stone and a roman camp site.
Dogs are given a warm and friendly welcome as we understand they too are part of the family. On arrival they will receive their own doggy welcome hamper including treats, food and water bowls, throws, towels and toiletries. The Bennachie Lodge has an enclosed garden and a warm water wash bay for cleaning those muddy paws after fun adventures. Guests have exclusive use of the secure onsite dog park for plenty of off lead adventures.
Cyclists can feel at home as the lodge has been designed with you in mind. From a secure storage shed (including washing and drying facilities) for keeping bikes safe to a wash bay for keeping bikes in top condition. Your Host Louise has also created a Bike Bliss electronic guide which not only contains suggested routes but highlights the important coffee and cake stops too!
If you are looking to bring your horse for some special bonding time, you can take time to explore the stunning farm tracks with little road work required. Horses will have access to a stable, individual turn out paddocks and there is a secure tack room onsite too.
Working with a number of local businesses, you can enhance your stay: from car detailing to photography shoots to to 4x4 hire and tours or for an indulgent treat, you can book a wellness session with our onsite Wellbeing Guru Gillian, beauty treatments at the local Levender Room or a remedial or sports massage with Karen of the Therapy Barn.

The Bennachie Lodge features a king sized bedroom with hair drier; living room with double sofa bed and 50” smart TV; fully fitted kitchen with induction hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and cooking essentials; dining area, full length windows to enjoy the views, heating and air conditioning and a shower room with WC, luxury Scottish toiletries, towels, robes and slippers.
Outside features a secure garden, south-facing decking area with seating area, BBQ fire pit and logs; hot tub, secure storage shed with washing machine and drying facilities; outdoor warm water wash bay and private parking for 2 cars.
Guests can also access the secure onsite dog park and over 10km of grass tracks for walking and horse riding.
