Built from traditional red sandstone Smithy Cottage is a rural country cottage offering accommodation on one level for 4 people.  Comprising one double and one twin bedded room, lounge with wood burning stove and dining table. Well equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils. Bathroom with shower over bath. There is also a tumble drier available.

Heating is provided by Electric storage heaters and a wood burning stove, the cost of electricity and logs are included in the rental. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is free Wifi and satellite TV.

With open views over the countryside the cottage offers a relaxing escape from it all, relax by the cosy wood burning stove or explore rural Perthshire at your leisure. This dog friendly property has an enclosed rear garden and lots of local walks to keep your doggie companions happy. 

Close to the market town of Blairgowrie (5 miles) and historic Dunkeld (8 miles) the property is located 15 miles north of Perth. There are plenty of places to explore including Loch of the Lowes wildlife reserve, the Angus Glens and Pitlochry with its famous fish ladder and festival theatre. Dunkeld and Blairgowrie both have great walk networks to explore and the nearby Catran Trail offers a fully waymarked long distance, circular walk of 64 miles.
