The Garden Flat is on the ground floor of Ardtornish House; a late 19th Century Mansion House nestled in the trees on the Morvern Peninsula.
The Garden Flat boasts large, open spaces and retains many of the original Victorian features of the house. With wide views aross Ardtornish House Law, the Garden Flat is the perfect historical self-catering stay for those wanting to relax into the tempo of Scotland's West Coast.
This grand, opulent apartment sleeps 5 people in one double and one triple room and welcomes 2 dogs. The master bedroom in the garden flat was once the study of the home owner and the triple bedroom served at the Head Housekeeper's Flower Room. The property is steeped in history and gives guests a truly authentic stay whilst also providing all of the modern comforts.
The kitchen, which was once The Butlers Pantry, retains its original fixtures including the house's Silver Safe and is fully equipped for a self-catering holiday.
Perhaps the properties most enchanting feature, the opulent living/dining room, has plenty of space for 8 people to dine in front of the enormous windows or cosy down with a wee dram next to the large open fire. You will be provided with a stock of kindling and logs for your stay.
The original marble bathroom has a WC and accessible shower.
The property is kitted out with superfast Starlink Wi-Fi.

Ardotrnish House has a snooker room which is available for guests of The Garden Flat to enjoy and should you wish to bring a private chef, there is also a commercial kitchen.
Ardtornish and Morvern
Ardtornish is a working estate - we have a Farm Shop, Kitchen Garden, Gift Shop and produce Hydro Electricity. You can purchase Ardtornish reared beef and lamb, wild venison, homemade ready meals and take-away hot drinks from the Farm Shop and if you preorder, we will even have your order waiting in your property on arrival.
Morvern is a spectacular peninsula; a playground for those who enjoy wildlife, outdoor pursuits and spending time in remote landscapes. It is a place to stop, breathe, open your eyes and rest your mind.
The local village of Lochaline is 3 miles away and is home to an award winning restaurant, post office, pub, shop and the ferry terminal servicing The Isle of Mull which is just a 20 minute sailing.
