Kirkstone Lodge is a unique architect designed holiday home. it is family and dog friendly with stunning views and amazing access to many outdoor pursuits directly from the back door. The lodge sleeps 8 people. There is a king bed with ensuite upstairs with views to the Monadhliath Mountains and a double sofa bed on a large landing with a wardrobe. Downstairs is another king size bedroom with ensuite and a bunk room (adult sized) which has a separate shower room. Each bedroom has a T.V. and a hairdryer. Linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a travel cot and high chair for the wee ones. Outside you will find a hot tub, sauna, seating area and bbq. The garden is enclosed for your dogs with plenty parking space. For any of your sports equipment the boot room has ski racks and the bike shed in the garden can be used for other equipment too. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need for a family holiday or week-end away and you will find a washing machine and tumble drier in the utility room. The lounge area is comfortable and has a huge picture window with views to the Mountains, a log burner and large TV with Sky. It is a smart TV so guests can log in to their own accounts for eg Netflix The house is very close to Aviemore which has all manner of winter sports available as well as summer hiking, biking and good dog walking. Aviemore has a good choice of places to eat and drink. Loch Insh is only minutes by car. Here you can paddle board, kayak, windsurf or just sit and have a coffee or a beer and watch everyone else! Directly from the House you can access Inshriach Forest where there are various dog walks of different lengths, mountain bike trails a plenty and just a lovely area to go and wander and enjoy the Cairngorms. The Badenoch Way actually passes by the house and will take you to the RSPB reserve at the Marshes. All in all a unique welcoming house with just what you need for a few days relaxation away from the stresses of your everyday life or indeed a great base for resting after a hard day on the slopes, hiking or biking . Immerse yourself in the hot tub and let the heat and the bubbles soothe your aches whilst you watch the stars and plan for tomorrows adventure.
