Our quartet of lovely self catering holiday cottages sit just a stones throw away from the sea. Listen to the waves lap whilst relaxing out on the balcony or patio. We are surrounded by the sea and great views on our Ross Bay peninsula.

Our pet friendly cottages are located on our 500 acre working farm with cattle, sheep, ponies, geese, hens, and lots of biodiversity for you to enjoy. We are in the area of the Dark Sky at night park with no light pollution - ideal for stargazing, and we also sit in the Galloway and South Ayrshire Biosphere (UNESCO site) renowned for linking people with nature.

Our cottages sleep 4-5 guests and are open all year around. Stunning scenery & sea views Dogs welcome (and loved!). Amazing coastline, beaches, castles & acres of forest Wonderful walks, biking, touring, golf & more.

Local Area:

On arrival you will be greeted by either a complementary homemade chocolate fudge cake, Victoria sponge cake with fresh cream and strawberries or strawberry jam, lemon drizzle cake. We also provide Cream 'O' Galloway ice cream and a warm kettle to kick start your relaxing break.

Local Activities:

From Ross Bay Retreat you can gaze out at the sea by day and the stars by night, contemplating what to explore first. Try the rockpools across the lane, go beachcombing, roam the woodlands on the hill, see the abundant wildlife, try sea fishing (bring your own tackle & boat!) or visit the best loved local towns.

There is ample parking, along with an enclosed patio area to the side. There is a BBQ, and folding chairs for you to enjoy.

Well behaved dogs are welcome, (usually maximum of 2 but please contact us). Please bring along with them their own bedding, leads and towels for drying dirty sandy/muddy paws after having fun!
